i think this picture is from the 1870's, but that's just a hunch. it is impossible to know why the seated man is dressed so well and the standing man is in rags, but i love the class contrast. this is probably the oldest photo i have of a person wearing apron front overalls. i hope to one day find the oldest in the world...
